Brooklyn Book Festival Recap

Hey everyone,

Some of you may have heard about the Brooklyn Book Festival a couple of weekends ago. Sounded like fun, right? Well, reader Ashley Rudder was so kind as to film clips from some of the discussions and panels and out them on YouTube so you don't have to miss out on any of the great discussions!

Ashley says, "This video is one of the panels that includes three talented young adult writers, Laurie Halse Anderson ( Wintergirls), Gayle Forman ( If I stay), and G. Neri ( Surf Mules). This panel's theme was Breaking Through, these author's novels featured teens forced to make difficult decisions under extraordinary and less than favorable circumstances. This panel discussion was awesome and I had a great time. I wanted to share with you all who are book lovers and enjoy reading young adult books like I do. Since some of you may not live in NYC and couldn't attend the event. I figured it would be great to show you a few clips that i took so you can enjoy and see some and hear from some great young adult writers. Hope you all enjoy!!!"

Thanks, Ashley! Here's the first video, with Gayle Forman discussing If I Stay:

You can check out the rest of the videos here: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=chocochip16&view=videos

Thanks again, Ashley!
