It does look much darker than the previous two (is that possible?) but I am eager for it! March 22nd of next year is when we'll see it on shelves. What do you think of this cover?

Cover Talk: Dark, Yes, But Not Hollow
So, I ran across a cover for Carrie Ryan's third book in her awesome zombie post-apocalyptic series, The Dark and Hollow Places
. While I wasn't a fan of the makeover the first two covers received, I've found that I am liking this third cover a lot. Check it out:

Of the new covers I like it the best, but I still prefer the old design.
I really like this one! A bit creepy and certainly the darkest of the three... definitely goes well with these books!
I like this cover a lot. Although I still have yet to read my copy of the first book.
I thought this was the cover? http://www.goodreads.com/book/photo/8391184-the-dark-and-hollow-places
*lost*
That one is the UK/Aussie/NZ cover.
The original covers for The Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Dead-Tossed Waves were FAR superior to what they were replaced with. The new covers just down-grade the entire "package" and literary style of the books. Let's face it: why try to market to a younger, cuter crowd when they're not going to want to step a 100 feet within a zombie novel.
Having said that, at least this last cover seems more like a happy medium. I just will never understand how the cover switch was a "good idea" in the first place. Ohwell.
I finished The Forest of Hands and Teeth on Monday, on Tuesday I started Dead Tossed Waves. I can't believe I have to wait almost a year for Dark and Hallow Places.
I like this cover; I'm not familiar with the old covers at all.
I like this cover, but I have to say that I LOVE the UK one....
I am stoked to read it, though, whatever the cover looks like!
