Cover Talk: Crush Control

Jennifer Jabaley, whose first book was Lipstick Apology, is coming out with a second book next summer called Crush Control. Though the books aren't really related, I like the similarities in the covers. Check it out:

You can click here to read my review of Lipstick Apology.

And here is what Crush Control is about:
"Willow has spent most of her life as her mother's sidekick in a popular Las Vegas hypnotism show. So when she and her mom move back to their sleepy southern hometown to start over, she thinks she's in for a life of quiet normalcy. Except that her new life turns out to be anything but, when she decides to hypnotize Quinton, the hottest guy on the football team, to fall madly, deeply, head over heels in love with her. But what started out as an innocent way to make her best friend, Max, jealous soon gets way out of hand and Willow begins to wonder if the mind—and more importantly, the heart—is something you can really control."
So, what do you all think? Sounds good? Isn't the cover neat? I love the bright colors. This one will hit shelves in June, but definitely grab a copy of Lipstick Apology in the meantime--it's a paperback, so it won't break the bank!

Love the covers - and I think it's nice when an author's books can be identified by cover, especially if they aren't exactly the same for different series. (See Sarah Dessen)

Crush Control looks good, too. I want summer reading now!

I probably won't read this, seeing as how I didn't finish the first one, but I really like the cover of the second book! Bright, eye-catching, and yes, related to the first one. I love when my series books match up.
