Win a Copy of Abandon by Meg Cabot!

One of my favorite books to be released this spring was Abandon by Meg Cabot. It's a modern take on the Persephone myth, and the start of a new trilogy by Meg Cabot, so a total win-win all around! I can't wait to see how Cabot continues it. You can check out my review here, and keep reading below to learn more about the book:

"Seventeen-year-old Pierce Oliviera knows what happens to us when we die. That’s how she met John Hayden, the mysterious stranger who’s made returning to normal life—or at least life as Pierce knew it before the accident—next to impossible. Though she thought she escaped him—starting a new school in a whole new place—it turns out she was wrong. He finds her. What does John want from her? Pierce thinks she knows…just like she knows he’s no guardian angel, and his dark world isn’t exactly heaven. But she can’t stay away from him, either, especially since he’s always there when she least expects it, but exactly when she needs him most. But if she let’s herself fall any further, she might find herself back in the place she fears most. And when Pierce discovers the shocking truth, that’s exactly where John sweeps her: The Underworld."

Sounds dangerous, right? Doesn't that make you want to go grab a copy right away?

Well, I'm offering you a chance to win a copy, plus an awesome bracelet featuring the opening line of the book--check it out on the right. All you have to do to enter is comment below and tell me what your favorite Meg Cabot book is! (Sorry, but this is only open to US residents...but please don't let that stop you from commenting!) Contest ends on May 15th, 2011, and make sure you leave me with a way to contact you if you win!

Also, Scholastic has launched a new online community called This Is Teen to connect readers with their favorite YA authors and books. Visit their page on Facebook for all the latest news on Meg Cabot and her new book--facebook.com/thisisteen.

Also, be sure to take a minute and watch the trailer!
