Gwyneth Shepherd's sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth, who in the middle of class takes a sudden spin to a different era!Sounds fabulous, right? Because it is an very, very good book, and it's killing me having to wait so long (next year!) for Sapphire Blue.
Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon--the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who, in the 18th century and in contemporary London, they can trust.
Now, in order to enter, just comment below and tell me which time period you'd like to visit if you had time traveling abilities. Be sure to leave your email address so I can get a hold of you! This contest is going to be ending next Monday at midnight, and is open to readers in the US and Canada!
Good luck, and I leave you with the trailer!

I would love to travel to early 19th century America. The US was in such a state of exploration and discovery that I can't even imagine what their lives would have been like.
I would love to travel to France during the 18th century, particularly during the time of Marie Antoinette. It seems that it was a time of extreme excess and I would love to see first hand how that played out in Versailles as well as on the streets.

I would love to travel to 18th century London, as cheesy as that sounds. Every book I've ever read that had the backdrop as that just shines in my mind, even if it was always raining in the book! It just always seemed that magic, real or not, lurked around corners and spun the exotic tales we read today.

I'd love to travel back and see the titanic set sail, and maybe even be able to ride on part of the voyage. This is such a good book I want to win so bad!!! Chipsparkcheese at gmail dot com
I would absolutely love to go back to the regency period. I love me some Jane Austen. That time has always appealed to me.

Hmm, I think I would want to visit the Victoria era. Probably because I love reading books from that time.

Thank you for the giveaway! I love time travel, but I'd definitely want to pack a bag with a few modern conveniences before I went back in time (like medical and hygiene supplies!) Once my bag is packed, I'd love go to back to the American Revolution and the time right after that.

I would love to travel to the Medieval time period, but just to visit. I wouldn't want to be stuck there too long b/c I am a huge fan of modern plumbing. lol. Thanks for the giveaway - Ruby Red looks like a great read!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I would love to travel back to the 1920's & 30's. While not *really* that far back time travel-wise, it would be fun to be a flapper & go to vaudeville shows. Plus, having indoor plumbing is always a perk.

I would like to visit Britain 1066, since that is such a year of upheaval. lwashin301(at)comcast(dot)net
It seems that everyone wants to go backwards, I want to go forward. I would love to travel 100 years(2111) ahead of time to see what if stories/novels that are futuristic are on track for what actually is-that is if we are still here.

Rennette: Sounds like The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler might be a good read for you!
I would have liked to live in the era of Laura Ingalls Wilder and The Oregon Trail. This time frame sounds exciting and adventurous. Second, is during the 50's & 60's with a June Cleaver mom. Where times seemed much simpler.

I usually go with the Victorian era, but lately I've been in a 1920s mood. I'd either want to go back in time to Chicago or NY during the 20s. It would be the bee's knees!!

I would like to travel to the Regency era ~ but I still want to have all of the modern day conveniences. ;)

I would like to go far, far back to ancient Rome. Too much is lost from that time, and I would love to see what it was actually like up close. Gods and goddesses were claimed to roam the earth, striking up tragedies and wars. It would be amazing!

If I had traveling abilities, I would like to go to the Victorian era because that is the world where Alice in Wonderland was written.

You know... I don't know. Perhaps a time with a hunky scotsman who will sweep me off my feet. Now, I know that IRL, it wouldn't be that romantic (unwashed, hard life, and so on) but not in my head! lol

I would love to go to either the Renaissance in merry old England or to the time when the Roman Empire was the place to see and be seen! It would be so awesome to see all those Romans and the splendor of ancient Rome. I could meet up with a gladiator and ... (ahem) that's a story for another time!

London during the Enlightenment, Italy during the Renaissance, China any time before the 20th century. Those would do to start. I love tme travel stories.
I would love to visit some time in the 1800s. I love that ear. It was so different from our time now and I would like to experience how everyone back then lived. It would certainly be an interesting experience.

I would say the 17th/18th centuries but cince they'rve been repeated so much my nect choice would be around WWII.
The book, Revolution made me want to travel to France during the Revolution. I would also love to travel to England during the middle ages. Yes, I have a romanticized version of it in my head and I know the real thing would probably not sit well with me, but I like the romantic ideal :)

I would love, love, love to travel back in time to 18th century Scotland, right in the thick of the second rising. I have always been interested in the time period and to see it for my self and to have knowledge of what happened first hand and not from history books would be so much fun (but very, very dangerous...what an adrenaline rush). Mostly I would love to see 18th century Scotland. I'm sure it was beatuiful.

I'd like to see ancient Greece, at least assuming I was traveling in the TARDIS and got automatic translation! If not, I'd pick sixteenth-century Britain, for a Shakespeare play.
I would love to travel to late 19th century London. The technology seems so different and I'd love to try out the photography of the time. Also the Sally Lockhart books sold me on that particular time period.
