This was absolutely one of my favorite books as a teen! I read the Wrinkle In Time series but I liked the Vickey Austin series she did much better. (Especially the later books in that series.) Anyway this book is very real, very sweet, and has a very happy ending. Makes me feel all warm inside remembering the many times I've read this one.

see this is one thing i love about books. you can suddenly remember one that was read a long time ago and you have all these memories associated with your life when you first read it. i have books that do that for me. this book looks pretty good. i will definetly have to get a copy when it is re released.

I will be looking forward to this book's re-release - I love L'Engle's books, but have not read this one. I can relate to the school library experience. I also went to a small private school and the library left much to be desired. Thanks for the info.
